Who runs this page
elevatorpitchexamples.net is run by the site itself, and it decides what happens to the small amount of data below. Send any question or request to hello@elevatorpitchexamples.net.
What you type in the builder
The pitch builder runs entirely inside your browser. Your role, your win and the sentences it writes are never sent anywhere, and they disappear when you leave or reload the page. The read-aloud clock only counts seconds; it does not use your microphone.
What gets counted
Nobody signs in here. A small script notes that the page loaded, which page sent you, how far you scrolled and whether you tapped a button that leads to the app listing. It also records your browser language, operating system, screen and window size, time zone and a random code kept in your browser, so a return visit is not counted twice. Your country is worked out from your IP address on our server; the address itself is not kept.
Where the counts go
The counts pass through this site's own server to an analytics provider that stores them in the European Union. We use them to learn which examples and sections help people. They are not sold and are not shared with advertisers.
Cookies and browser storage
No cookies are set. Your browser keeps the random code, a visit marker that resets after half an hour of quiet, and a note if you closed the bar at the bottom of the screen. Clearing this site's data removes all of it, and blocking scripts leaves the examples fully readable.
The app buttons
Buttons and links about practice go to /say-it on this site. That address looks only at your browser's user agent: Android phones go to the Confidently listing on Google Play, with the button's spot on the page passed along as a referrer, and every other device goes to the App Store. Nothing is stored at that step. Once you reach a store, that store's terms and the app's own privacy terms apply.
Your choices
Write to the address above and we will delete anything tied to your random code. Since nothing here knows your name, clearing the site data in your browser is the quickest way to break the link yourself.
